Noise testing of motor vehicles

The bachelor's thesis deals with noise testing applicated on motor vehicles. At first, basic issues of acoustics are mentioned. Next, types of measurement with a short description of methods are given. An attention is paid to the structure of technical regulations which are valid in the Czech Republic and EU.

Work is focused on assessing various options repairs damaged vehicles with regard to their reintroduction into service. Part of this work is the general procedure of valuation of used motor vehicles and damaged vehicles. For example, are also applied various methods of access to vehicle repair and subsequently evaluated their results. The available methods were used: repair to authorized service center with original parts, servicing non-genuine with non-original components and repair yourself, using components from other damaged vehicles.
Highway fees in the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis is focused on the highway fees in the Czech Republic. The first part of the work defines terms such as road tax, history and evolution of taxes and fees related to the operation of motor vehicles. There is described transport infrastructure, transport and current trends in transport. It also deals with the development of road transport and charging. The second part of the work compares the established models in selected coun-tries of the European Union - Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Poland. Then follows the analysis of revenue and expenditure for vignettes in the Czech Republic. In conclusion, there are processed impacts of the introduction of electronic fees for motor vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes in the Czech Republic and there are processed graphs on estimated initial expenditures and estimated return on investment.

This bachelor thesis is concerned with the contract of Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership and its potential impact on automotive industry of the Czech Republic and European Union. The aim of this thesis is to find out and subsequently appraise potential impacts of this contract on the automotive industry of the Czech Republic. In the first chapter a current situation of world automotive industry is analysed with the focus on the industry of European Union and Czech Republic. The analysis dedicates of exports and imports of automotive products and mutual trade between European Union, Czech Republic and United States of America. The second chapter is concerned with the potential impacts of the contract of Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership on the automotive industry of European Union and Czech Republic in economic and social field.
Motor vehicle taxation in the EU

The aim of this thesis is to describe the motor vehicle taxation in the Member States of the European Union. The thesis is divided into three sub- chapters. The first chapter describes the historical development of the laws of the Member States of the European Union in the field of vehicle taxation. This chapter also describes types of charges, which may be subject to motor vehicles. This chapter ends with the introduction of EURO emission standards and their impact on motor vehicle taxation. The second chapter is devoted to the collection of road tax in the Czech Republic and its beneficiaries, the State Transport Infrastructure Fund. The third chapter discusses the issue of motor vehicle taxation in individual member countries of the European Union, including specific taxes in individual states, their structures and their revenues.
Motor military vehicles assessing

The article deals with assessing of motor vehicles. The military vehicle and their assessing show some specialties comparing with common motor vehicles. The assessing of the motor vehicles is solved by the Experts standard No. I/2005 – Assessing of the motor vehicles. The authors of the article undertake with differences of the assessing process in comparison with the expert standard, which is necessary to consider while assessing the military vehicles.

Nation-wide deployment of motor vehicle tax

State budget as one of the most important budgets helps to fund public goods and services in the Czech Republic. The important revenue of the state budget is from taxes. This thesis focuses on one specific kind of taxes system of motor vehicle tax. Since motor vehicle tax contributes to funding of roads and motorways maintenance and development of roads, this thesis presents theoretical estimation of potential income from the motor vehicle tax. The estimated income is related to the potential application of motor vehicle tax on all personal vehicles in the Czech Republic. This thesis contains not only a theoretical research of tax system but also a practical computation of motor vehicle tax based on statistical data from Ministry of transport. There is a survey targeted to taxation of all motor vehicles. Evaluation of the survey answers shows public opinion of asked sample of people. The survey results as well as research of existing taxation approaches in other countries was used to create a new system of motor vehicle tax that is presented in this thesis.
